What ETasks does

ETasks connects to your Google account and works with the same task lists and tasks you use in Google Tasks on the web and in other Google apps. Add and edit tasks (including one level of subtasks), set due dates, star favorites, search across titles and notes, share lists or tasks as plain text, and keep everything in sync when you are online.

Reminder times you set in ETasks are local to your Apple devices (they do not sync to Google). Due dates, titles, notes, completion, list order, and subtask structure sync through Google Tasks.

The app is built for people who want a focused, native iPhone experience on top of Google Tasks — not a separate task system.

Lists Expandable list cards with inline tasks, favorites pinned to the top, and a collapsible completed section. Customize which lists appear, their order, section titles, and colors. Drag tasks between lists or nest them as subtasks.
Calendar Three views in one tab: Week (seven day cards, drag between days to reschedule), Month (due and reminder markers; tap a day to open that week), and Agenda (chronological due and reminder rows for the month).
Favorites Starred tasks grouped by list, with a toolbar sheet for upcoming and missed local reminders. Drop a task on the Favorites tab to star it quickly.
Search Full-text search across task titles, subtask titles, and notes. Tap a result to jump to the task on the Lists tab with scroll and highlight.
Recycle Bin Optional fifth tab for soft-deleted lists and tasks — restore or delete forever. Drag tasks or lists onto the Bin tab to delete (when the bin is enabled in Settings).
Gestures Swipe to complete, star, add subtasks, or delete. Long-press drag to reorder, move between lists, reschedule on the calendar, or drop on Favorites / Bin tab icons.
Offline-first Edits save on your device immediately and queue for Google when you are offline. Settings shows pending changes and a manual sync control.
Languages & iCloud UI available in English, 中文, हिन्दी, Bahasa Melayu, Español, Français, Türkçe, and 日本語 (or follow the system language). Some preferences and local-only fields sync between your Apple devices via iCloud.

Google account & permissions

When you sign in, ETasks asks for permission to access your Google Tasks data using the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks. That allows the app to read and update your task lists and tasks — the same kind of access the official Google Tasks app uses to keep your data in sync.

ETasks does not request access to Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts, or other Google services. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page or by signing out in the app.
