What ETasks does

ETasks connects to your Google account and works with the same task lists and tasks you use in Google Tasks on the web and other Google apps. You can browse lists, add and edit tasks (including subtasks), set due dates, mark tasks complete, search across your tasks, and keep favorites and notifications organized on your phone.

The app is built for people who want a focused, native iPhone experience on top of Google Tasks — not a separate task system.

Lists View and manage all your Google task lists. Expand a list to see open tasks, favorites, and completed items.
Week See tasks grouped by due date across the current week. Drag tasks between days to reschedule.
Favorites & notifications Star important tasks and see upcoming or missed local reminders in one place.
Search Find any task or subtask quickly, then jump to its list with highlighting.
Offline-first Edits save on your device immediately and sync to Google when you are online.
Apple devices Some preferences and local-only fields sync between your Apple devices via iCloud. Task content still comes from Google Tasks.

Google account & permissions

When you sign in, ETasks asks for permission to access your Google Tasks data using the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks. That allows the app to read and update your task lists and tasks — the same kind of access the official Google Tasks app uses to keep your data in sync.

ETasks does not request access to Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts, or other Google services. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page or by signing out in the app.
